Lab Director & Reader
My main interests focus on emotional and behavioural disorders in childhood and environmental factors (parenting, teacher-child interaction, stressful or traumatic experiences including domestic violence). My research focuses on how these environmental factors relate to child individual differences (temperament, gender, cognitive ability); and how findings in this area can be translated into more effective intervention and prevention strategies.
I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, specializing in evidenced-based family treatment of emotional and behavioural disorders in children.
